Jerry Lee & Playing Little Guitars

Apparently there's been a whole lot of pickin' going on, too.

Who would have thought Jerry Lee Lewis was a closet guitar player?

"I like to play guitar too," the ol' piano pounder said in this interview with the Los Angeles Times. "I play my guitar just about as good as anybody plays guitar. Yeah! I can play some heavy blues and some good rock 'n' roll on guitar ... But I don't want to do that, because then I'm gonna be obligated to do it. I know [fans] expect to hear a piana . . . They're not going to allow the other Jerry Lee."

This is like finding out that LeBron James is also a really good hockey player ...

If this blog had a house band, it might have to be the Little Guitar Army. The LGA is a 10-piece group from Vancouver that really plays little guitars -- six of them in fact. They're about the size of Guitar Hero controllers, as you can see in the video, and were custom made by the band's founder, Cal Thompson.
